MWB Marine Services GmbH: Strategic realignment with a strong partner
Green light for engine experts

The engine experts at Bremerhaven's German Dry Docks AG (GDD) can step on the gas. MWB Marine Services GmbH starts work on 1 July. The antitrust authorities have given the go-ahead for the strategic realignment. With Zeppelin Power Systems GmbH & Co KG (ZPS) from Hamburg, the motor sector of the GDD Group has a strong partner at its side. At the Kaiserhafen site, the new company combines the tradition of MWB Motorenwerke Bremerhaven with answers to future challenges in international shipping.[more]

Am 25.01.2017 fand eine Alarmübung auf der KORVETTE ERFURT bei der GDD AG in der Barkhausenstraße in Bremerhaven statt. Ziel einer solchen Übung ist es verschiedene Abläufe im Falle eines Brandes zu üben sowie die Zusammenarbeit mit der Feuerwehr zu unterstützen.[more]

Together under the umbrella of the German Dry Docks Group: Shipyard alliance of GDD, BREDO and Mützelfeldtwerft

As of February 1, 2017 German Dry Docks AG (GDD), BREDO Dockgesellschaft mbH (BREDO) and Mützelfeldtwerft GmbH & Co. KG will form a shipyard alliance under the umbrella of the German Dry Docks Group. The shipyards will preserve their independence and continue to trade in the market with their names. In the future the three locations will be managed by Guido Försterling (GDD) and Dirk Harms (BREDO).[more]
